Sea-Pac Sales traces its history back to 1883 and the founding of Seattle Hardware Company. From its early focus on selling gold mining equipment to fortune seekers headed for Alaska, Seattle Hardware has survived as a distributor of many products for over 118 years. Sea-Pac Sales became a division of Seattle Hardware in the 1950's when appliances, electronics and floor covering products began to out-grow hardware.

Sea-Pac Sales (Seattle Hardware) was locally owned and operated by the Black family for 101 years. In 1984, Sea-Pac was merged with Palmer G. Lewis Company and remained as part of that group until purchased by the current owner, Warn/Williams Associates, in 1990. Sea-Pac's distribution center and headquarters are located in Kent, Washington.
